Biography
Dr. Goud brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Kaiser Permanente Center for Reproductive Health. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in July 2008, he worked as an adjunct clinical assistant professor of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Wayne State University and ran his own Gynecological Clinic in Mumbai, India.
During his fellowships, Dr. Goud has conducted extensive research in areas, such as Gamete Biology and Embryology and Assisted Reproduction at the Center for the Treatment of Infertility at Ghent University, and the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Wayne State University. His Doctoral thesis was titled "Oocyte mechanisms controlling fertilization and early cleavage divisions" and he was awarded a PhD with the highest honors. His subsequent research has received recognition through numerous awards and honors including the prestigious Donald F Richardson Memorial National Award, the Gordon Research Conference young investigator award and the ASRM-Ortho McNeil Women’s Health Research Award.
In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Goud has spent many years training / teaching medical students in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is also an ad-hoc reviewer for journals, such as Human Reproduction (Oxford Press), Fertility and Sterility (American Society for Reproductive Medicine), and Obstetrics and Gynecology (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology).
